Embedded Systems
Internship
Info
The Embedded Systems Internship introduces students to the design and development of practical IoT and embedded systems.
The programme is based on the ESP32 platform and focuses on building a working system with sensor and actuator devices, control logic, experiments, simulations, and project documentation.

What Will Students Work On ?
During the internship, students work with embedded systems that combine microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, communication interfaces, energy sources, and software logic. The goal is to understand how specialized computer systems control real devices, collect data, communicate with other systems, and operate reliably in practical conditions.
Conditions
The Programme Includes:
ESP32-based
development
platform
Building
an IoT
system
Writing
control
code
Experiments
and
simulations
Preparation of
an individual
report
The internship is based on the ESP32 platform. Students build an IoT system composed of several sensor and actuator devices, write control code, perform experiments and simulations, and prepare an individual report describing their work and results.
What You Will Learn
- How embedded systems control devices and mechanisms
- How sensors, actuators, interfaces, memory, and energy sources work together
- Basic IoT communication concepts and protocols
- How data can be collected, visualized, and analyzed
- How embedded hardware and software are developed in practice

Student Project Competition
All projects created by students during the internship are eligible to take part in a final competition at the end of the programme. The competition gives students the opportunity to present their work, demonstrate their prototype, and receive recognition in several categories.
Award categories:
🏆 Best Idea
🏆 Best Prototype
🏆 Best Program Code
🏆 Best Communication
🏆 Best Data Presentation
🏆 Best Project Defense
